Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Grosh-e app and related wallet services provided by Hadhramout Bank.

Important: Wallet and financial services may be subject to regulatory requirements. Some features may require identity verification and may be limited based on compliance and security checks.

1) Eligibility and Account

  • You must provide accurate information when registering and using the service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, verification codes (OTP), and any security settings you enable.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support promptly.

2) Services

Grosh-e may provide wallet functionality such as balance display, transaction history, transfers, bill payments, merchant payments, and service notifications (as available).

Services may change over time, and availability may depend on operational, regulatory, or technical factors.

3) Verification and KYC (Where Required)

To meet security and regulatory obligations, you may be asked to complete identity verification, which can include submitting identity document images and selfies and performing liveness checks. Verification may be required for account activation, higher limits, or specific transactions.

4) Fees and Charges

Fees may apply for certain services or transaction types. Where applicable, fees should be displayed within the app or communicated through official channels before you confirm the operation.

5) Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering, or abuse of third parties.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service’s security controls.
  • Do not share misleading information or impersonate others.

6) Security Controls

The app may offer security features such as device controls, notifications, and optional biometric unlocking. If you enable such features, you are responsible for keeping your device secure (for example, using a screen lock and keeping your operating system updated).

7) Suspension, Limits, and Termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the service where needed for security, fraud prevention, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, or to address suspected misuse. We may also require additional verification before restoring access.

8) Privacy and Data Practices

Your use of the app is also governed by the Privacy Policy and related retention practices in Data Retention.

9) Liability (General)

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or by your failure to keep your credentials and device secure. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Yemen, to the extent permitted by applicable law and regulatory requirements.

11) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Your continued use of the service after changes may indicate acceptance of the updated Terms, as allowed by applicable law.
